RAUSU helps students to run over 30 different clubs and societies. Whether its well-known sports like football and rugby or something a little more unusual, we have a fantastic range of options available and encourage you to get involved at whatever level you feel comfortable at.
Wednesday afternoon is set aside for sports, when many of the teams including Rugby, Football, Netball and Men’s and Women’s Hockey compete in the British Universities and Colleges Sports League. Training takes place throughout the week and is arranged by the individual teams with the backing of the Students’ Union.
There is a great range of facilities for sports, both on and off campus, including a gym, an all-weather pitch, tennis courts, and table tennis tables.
Our sporting opportunities include horse riding, darts and cricket and are societies are as diverse as Board Games Society, Brewers Club and RAU Choir – there really is something for everyone.
If you fancy joining an RAU club or society, please contact the Captains directly to express your interest or email Lewis Bebb, SU President in the SU Office who will be happy to help: firstname.lastname@example.org
